At Renewed Vision Counseling and Developmental Disability Center, our Adult Day & Community Integration Services provide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a structured, supportive environment where they can develop life skills, build meaningful relationships, and actively participate in their communities. Our program combines center-based learning with real-world community experiences to promote independence, confidence, and an enhanced quality of life.
Our services are designed around each individual's unique strengths, interests, abilities, and personal goals. Through person-centered planning, participants receive individualized support that encourages growth while respecting their choices, preferences, and independence.
At our Adult Day Center, participants engage in meaningful activities that promote personal development, including daily living skills, communication, social skills, health and wellness education, recreational activities, computer and technology training, financial literacy, arts and crafts, employment readiness, behavioral skill development, and educational workshops. These structured activities help individuals build the knowledge and confidence needed for greater independence in everyday life.
Community Integration extends learning beyond the classroom by providing opportunities to participate in everyday community experiences. Individuals receive hands-on support while learning to use public transportation, shop independently, manage money, volunteer, attend community events, visit local businesses, participate in recreational activities, develop friendships, and access community resources. Our staff provide coaching and guidance that helps individuals build lasting skills while encouraging meaningful participation in community life.
At Renewed Vision, we believe community inclusion is about more than simply being present—it's about creating opportunities for individuals to contribute, build relationships, and live fulfilling lives as active members of their communities. Our team focuses on developing natural supports and teaching practical skills that foster long-term independence rather than dependence on services.
We work closely with individuals, families, guardians, case managers, healthcare providers, employers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure services are coordinated and aligned with each participant's Individual Service Plan (ISP) and Medicaid waiver requirements. Progress is regularly monitored, goals are adjusted as individuals grow, and every achievement is celebrated.
Our mission is to empower every individual to discover their strengths, develop lifelong skills, and build meaningful connections both within our program and throughout the community. Through compassionate, person-centered support, Renewed Vision helps individuals achieve greater independence, increased confidence, and a more active, connected, and purposeful life.
