At Renewed Vision Counseling and Developmental Disability Center, our Transitional Living Services support young adults who are aging out of foster care and preparing to move toward greater independence. We provide guidance, structure, and practical support during this important stage of life.
Transitioning out of foster care can bring many new responsibilities and challenges. Our services are designed to help individuals build the confidence, life skills, and support systems needed to navigate adulthood with greater stability and direction.
Renewed Vision works with each individual to create a personalized plan based on their goals, strengths, and current needs. Support may include assistance with independent living skills, housing readiness, budgeting, employment preparation, education planning, transportation, community resources, communication, and daily routines.
Our approach is person-centered and focused on helping young adults make informed choices about their future. We encourage individuals to take an active role in setting goals, developing healthy habits, and building the skills needed to manage life more independently.
We also work collaboratively with case managers, families, guardians, schools, employers, healthcare providers, and community partners when appropriate. Through ongoing support and coordinated planning, we help individuals strengthen the foundation they need for long-term success.
At Renewed Vision, we believe aging out of foster care should not mean facing adulthood alone. Our Transitional Living Services provide encouragement, practical guidance, and a supportive path forward as young adults begin building lives of independence, confidence, and purpose.
